The Planning ~cuusideratioDm are as follows: This is typical of a general situatiom that seems to be developing aloag Bass Lake Road. With the eltminatiom of strip zoning, efforts are bei~g made to develop vacant land along Bass Lake Road for m~!t£ple d~el!ings~ This is a very desirable trend. The problem is that these p~-~oposed developaents fall considerably below the standards established in the zoning ordnance. This development for e~ple has only 1,500 square feet of site area per dwellir~ unit'. The structures are not de$tg~ed by an architect and the site plan is poor~ It is important that the Plann~ Commission and the Council determine an over- all policy on this qaestiono ?~at standards of deveio~ment are you going to insist upon?
