CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:00 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Jenn Carlson,
Captain Scott Slawson, Police Office Supervisor Jeana Allen-Hatcher, Director of HR/Admin.
Services Rich Johnson and HR Specialist Walker MacBeath
MINUTES Chair Galstad moved for the approval of minutes for both the August 29, 2023 and November
14, 2023 meetings. Commissioner Brostrom seconded. Motion passed.
POLICE CLERK
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed four
candidates for the police clerk position in the police department.
MOTION After discussion, Commissioner Brostrom moved to certify candidates scoring 75 and above.
Chair Galstad seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Alison Arneson and
Bret Fierce were certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS Director Johnson shared the following:
• Welcome to Commissioner Carlson for her first meeting!
• Upcoming meetings will include for housing/code enforcement inspector, city clerk and
police officer.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 7:59 p.m.
