CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:00 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Tony Brown,
Director of HR/Admin. Services Rich Johnson and HR Specialist Walker MacBeath.
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the May 31, 2023 meeting.
Commissioner Brostrom seconded. Motion passed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
UPDATE
The board reviewed an updated job description for the utility billing/special assessments clerk.
The job description was approved as presented.

CLERK INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed five
candidates for the utility billing/special assessments clerk position in the HR/administrative
services department.
MOTION After discussion, Commissioner Brostrom moved to certify candidates scoring 80 and above.
Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Krissy Barthel,
Nicholas Bell and Corrine Hanson were certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS Director Johnson shared that a CSO recently resigned and the city will be starting a
recruitment process in the near future.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
