CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:00 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Tony Brown, HR
Specialist Walker MacBeath. Additionally, Director Jeff Sargent for the admin. specialist
interview portion and Captain Dave Johnson and Officer Supervisor Jeana Allen-Hatcher for
the police clerk interview portion.
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the March 8, 2023 meeting.
Commission Brostrom seconded. Motion passed.
ADMINISTRATIVE
SPECIALIST
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed two
candidates for the administrative specialist position in the community development
department.
MOTION After discussion, Commissioner Brostrom moved to certify candidates scoring 75 and above.
Chair Galstad seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Linda Bergemann and
Lorilee Stafford were certified.
POLICE CLERK
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed three
candidates for the police clerk position in the police department. Two additional candidates
withdrew prior to the interviews.
MOTION After discussion, Commissioner Brostrom moved to certify candidates scoring 70 and above.
Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Sundae Meyer,
Karli Pierro and Magaly Velasquez were certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS There were no announcements to be made.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 8:18 p.m.
