CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:00 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.

Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioners Wendy Brostrom and Tony Brown
Present: Police Captain Scott Slawson and HR Specialist Walker MacBeath
Excused: HR/Admin. Director Rich Johnson
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the December 21, 2022 meeting.
Commissioner Brostrom seconded. Motion passed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
UPDATES
The board reviewed and approved the evidence technician, maintenance worker and utilities
maintenance supervisor descriptions as presented.

INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and job duties and then interviewed two
candidates for the evidence technician position in the police department.
MOTION Following discussion, Commissioner Brown moved to certify candidates scoring 75 and
above. Chair Galstad seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. George
Brandtner and Melissa DeLeeuw were certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS HR Specialist MacBeath shared information about the recruitment process for city manager.
He also shared that Commissioner Brown has decided to complete his term on the board.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
