OPEN FORUM HRC Page on City Website
- Commissioner Isenberg reported that on the St. Louis Park HRC
site, they have a link to the MN State’s site to report hate crimes
and/or discrimination. Asked if that is possible for the New Hope city
site?
- Chief Hoyt indicated that the city does have to report those crimes to
the state but would check into if the links to the state’s info could be
added to our website.
Blue Santa
- Chair Meyer commended the Police Department for the Blue Santa
event and questioned showing children’s faces on social media (vs.
blurring them or covering them.)
- Chief Hoyt explained how the program was revamped and is very
successful and impactful. Everyone involved gave permission for the

well though.
