CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:04 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Tony Brown,
Police Captain Scott Slawson and HR Specialist/IT Coordinator Walker MacBeath
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the May 10, 2022 meeting. Chair
Galstad seconded. Motion passed.
POLICE OFFICER
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed two
internal candidates for the police officer position in the police department.
MOTION Following discussion, Chair Galstad moved to certify candidates scoring 70 and above.
Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Isaiah Gorman
and Matthias Waldemar were certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS MacBeath reminded the board of the upcoming meeting on June 28 for the maintenance
worker position. The board also discussed and agreed to the date of July 11 for a meeting date
to interview CSO candidates.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 6:53 p.m.
