CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:05 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Tony Brown,
Director of HR/Administrative Services Rich Johnson, Police Captain Scott Slawson and HR
Specialist/IT Coordinator Walker MacBeath
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the January 26, 2022 meeting.
Commissioner Brostrom seconded. Motion passed.
PATROL SERGEANT
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed seven
candidates for the patrol sergeant position in the police department.
MOTION MacBeath submitted personnel board member scores to staff at BCD Consulting for
integration into the other scored factors for the sergeant process. Once the finalized scores
were received back and discussion occured, Commissioner Brown moved to certify candidates
scoring 75 and above. Commissioner Brostrom seconded the motion. The motion passed
unanimously. Britni Austin, Tony Gust, Tony Loser, Miguel Robles and Jason Ryan were
certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS Johnson shared that the city will be recruiting for police officers and a maintenance worker
soon.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
