CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:00 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Tony Brown,
Police Captain Scott Slawson, HR/Admin. Director Rich Johnson and HR Coordinator Walker
MacBeath
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the October 6, 2021 meeting.
Commissioner Brostrom seconded. Motion passed.
POLICE OFFICER
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed eight
candidates for the police officer position in the police department.
MOTION After discussion, Chair Galstad moved to certify candidates scoring 69 and above.
Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Sabrina
DeMars, Nicholas Fasching, Jared Gray, Thomas Hedin, Dmitri Ikonitski, Glenn Perez, Erik
Saima and Cory Sederlund were certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS Director Johnson shared that the Council approved the reclass of the HR coordinator position
to HR specialist/IT coordinator, and the community development assistant to community
development coordinator/management analyst.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 9:18 p.m.
