CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:00 p.m. pursuant to due call and notice
thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Tony Brown,
Police Captain Slawson, HR/Admin. Director Rich Johnson and Human Resources
Coordinator Walker MacBeath
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the Apr. 5, 2021 meeting. Chair
Galstad seconded. Motion passed.
GENERAL
INSPECTOR JOB
DESCRIPTION
The board discussed the updated version of the general inspector job description as provided.
No changes requested. Chair Galstad will sign a clean copy when provided.
2020 PERSONNEL
BOARD REPORTS
The board discussed the reports presented. They had two formatting suggestions which will
be made before presentation to Council.
COMMUNITY
SERVICE OFFICER
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed five
candidates for the community service officer position in the police department. HR
Coordinator MacBeath asked all formal questions of the interviewees.
MOTION After discussion, Chair Galstad moved to certify candidates scoring 70 and above.
Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Isaiah Gorman,
Amara Kanneh, Julian Kidd and Ahmed Mohamed were certified.
ANNOUNCEMENTS There were no announcements to be made.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 8:22 p.m.
