Sealed Bids will be received by the City of New Hope, Min-
nesota, in the City Hall at 4401 X_vlon Avenue North, until
10:00 P.M., C.S.T., on Thursday, May 13. 2004, at which
time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the
furnishing of all labor, material, and all else necessary for
the following.

Consisting of the following work:
Demolition of Fourteen (14) properties including the
removal of foundations and all other site structures.

The newspaper has complied with all of the requirements constituting qualification as
a qualified newspaper, as provided by Minn. Stat. §331A.02, §331A.07, and other
applicable laws, as amended.
The printed public notice that is attached was published in the newspaper once each
week, for two successive weeks; it was first published on Thursday, the 29 day
of April , 2004, and was thereafter printed and published on every Thursday
to and including Thursday, the 6 day of May , 2004; and printed below
is a copy of the lower case alphabet from A to Z, both inclusive, which is hereby
acknowledged as being the size and kind of type used in the composition and publica-
tion of the notice:

Each Bid shall be. accompanied by a Bidder's Bond in the
amount of 5%. of the bid naming the City of New Hope as
obligee, certified check payable to the Clerk of the City of
New Hope or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent
of the amount of the Bid. which shall be. forfeited to the
City in the event that the Bidder fails to enter into a Con-
tract.
fhe City'Couhcil reserves the right to retain the.deposits
of the 3 lowest Bidders far a period not to exceed 60 days
after the date and time set for the Opening ofBids. No Bids
may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date
and time set for the Opening of Bids.
Payment for the work will be, by cash or check.
The Cit Council reserves the right to reiect any and all
Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and
further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best
interests of the City.
