CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Galstad at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 22 pursuant to due call
and notice thereof.
ROLL CALL Present: Chair Eric Galstad, Commissioner Wendy Brostrom, Commissioner Tony Brown,
HR/Admin. Director Rich Johnson, Police Captain Scott Slawson and Human Resources
Coordinator Walker MacBeath.
MINUTES Commissioner Brown moved for the approval of minutes for the August 3, 2020 meeting.
Commissioner Brostrom seconded, motion passed.
POLICE SERGEANT
INTERVIEWS
The board discussed the interview questions and the job duties and then interviewed four
candidates for the police sergeant position in the police department. HR Coordinator
MacBeath asked all formal questions of the interviewees.
SUSPENSION OF
MEETING
Chair Galstad moved for suspension of the meeting at 8:20 p.m. until Sept. 23, 2020 at 6 p.m.
Commissioner Brown seconded, motion passed.

Chair Galstad reconvened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 23, 2020.
POLICE SERGEANT
INTERVIEWS
The board interviewed three additional candidates for the police sergeant position. HR
Coordinator MacBeath asked all formal questions of the interviewees.
MOTION After discussion and reviewing a compilation of weighted scores from all aspects of the
recruitment process from BCD consulting, Chair Galstad moved to certify candidates with an
overall score of 75 and higher. Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed
unanimously. Britni Austin, Chris Cazin, Josh Eernisse, Mike Keithahn, Miguel Robles and
Mike TenEyck were certified.
ANNOUCEMENTS Confirmed upcoming personnel board meetings for police clerk and director of police.
ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business to come before the board, the meeting adjourned at 8:28 p.m.
